The company MG presented its electric roadster Cyberster at Auto Shanghai 2023 and promised to release the production version by the summer of the following year. This is also the brand's first roadster in more than a decade and promises "avant-garde" technologies for the driver along with a futuristic cabin.

The design itself looks modern, but pays homage to the iconic MG roadsters with distinctive elements such as a long front hood and smooth body lines. The unique scissor doors are an innovative addition.

MG did not confirm what may power the Cyberster, but leaked details suggest that the roadster will have three variants. The single-motor model will be the base option, and the more powerful two versions will be with two motors, with the first having 101 horsepower on the front and 215 hp on the rear.

The most powerful version will have 201 hp (150 kW) at the front and 335 hp (250 kW) at the rear, which may reach up to 530 hp (395 kW) when the official figures are published. There are still no details about the total power or battery capacity, but we know that the Cyberster will weigh somewhere around 1850 kilograms.
