The model range BMW M8 received new colours and infotainment system upgrades in 2022. However, under the bonnet there were no changes, where the 4.4-litre twin-turbo engine continues to offer the same 617 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

Tuning maniacs at G-Power however made sure that was not the case. The company offers a new impressive package, coming specifically for M8 Gran Coupe.
Starting with the most important – the power upgrade. The V8 S63 engine received new forged pistons and connecting rods, two new air coolers, optimised turbochargers and a new control unit. Thanks to these hardware settings, the power of the 4.4-litre engine jumps to 900 hp and 1050 Nm of torque. The increase in power comes with a pleasant improvement in sound, thanks to the in-house developed G-Power exhaust system with carbon tips with lower back pressure on the exhaust gases.

The increase in power corresponds to a set of new 21-inch forged wheels with 285/30 tyres at the front and 295/30 at the rear. The most impressive exterior improvement should be that large fixed rear wing, made of carbon. Other carbon body components include the engine bonnet with better heat management for the engine compartment. As an alternative, customers can order a standard front bonnet, finished in a dark shade of purple.
There is still no published information on prices, but we bet the full package will not be cheap. If you prefer not to spend a fortune on hardcore engine modifications for your M8 Gran Coupe, G-Power also offers finer power upgrade packages from 700 to 840 hp. It all depends on the software setting and the upgraded components that can be installed independently.
