Bridgestone officially announced the release of its new premium motorcycle tyre BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12, created under the concept“From the racetrack to the street”. The new model will be availableon the European and North American market in January 2026, and in February 2026 it will reach Japan as well.
The RS12 is designed with technologies used in Bridgestone’s racing tyres to offer the highest level of dry grip in the history of the BATTLAX series, while maintaining full road-legal approval.
Technological innovations in the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12
1. New rubber compound
The tyre is built from an advanced compound based on racing technologies that provide maximum grip and stability at high speeds.
2. Tread pattern design for maximum stability
The RS12 features a completely new tread pattern, with an optimised channel ratio that increases the rigidity of the structure and increases the contact area in corners. The result is better feel and control, especially when riding on dry asphalt.
3. New front tyre structure
For the first time in a commercial model, Bridgestone is introducing the HE-MS BELT technology, proven in the most prestigious motorcycle races. This flexible structure distributes the pressure evenly in the contact area, leading to greater stability and precise grip in corners.
Created for the racetrack, ready for the street
By integrating the experience gained in endurance racing, Bridgestone achieves significant improvements in track performance. Internal tests show that lap times are significantly reduced compared to the previous BATTLAX RACING STREET RS11 model.
Thanks to the optimal combination of rubber compound, tread pattern, and structure, the RS12 maintains stable grip even after multiple laps. This provides riders with confidence, safety, and enjoyment of riding – whether they are driving on winding mountain roads or on a race track.
