The motorsport division of McLaren presented an updated version of its 720S GT3, originally launched in 2018. The track car receives the suffix 'Evo' to reflect the changes made for improvement in aerodynamics and durability. Homologated for the 2023 season, the racing car boasts quick-release fasteners on the front bumper and splitter, which make it easier for teams to replace parts.

These body panels have been redesigned to generate additional downforce and shift the overall balance forward. McLaren installed a new hood mount for better balance and improved cooling.

In addition, lights have been repositioned to provide improved visibility for night racing. At the rear, the wing is higher for better downforce and also has an adjustable mechanism.

720S GT3 Evo is equipped with four-way adjustable TTX40 Öhlins dampers, and engineers have made further changes to the front and rear upper wishbones.
